About Geeta
Bio.
Born and raised in Suva, Fiji, Geeta R. Narayan has always loved stories.
Growing up in a home filled with books, she developed a passion for reading and writing at an early age. Encouraged by her mother, she began writing short stories as a child, some of which were published in local newspapers and magazines.
Music has also been an important part of Geeta's life. In 1993, she began performing Bollywood songs throughout British Columbia, Canada, where she entertained audiences for more than twenty-five years.
Although life and family responsibilities often took priority, her love of writing never faded.
Today, Geeta continues to pursue the dream she has carried since childhood. Her work includes the crime novel Dirty Digits, the upcoming collection Tales of Toorak, inspired by her childhood in Fiji, and original song lyrics written in collaboration with her uncle, musician and producer Maxie Columbus.
Whether writing fiction, memoir-inspired stories, or song lyrics, Geeta's goal is always the same—to tell stories that entertain, connect, and stay with readers long after the final page.
